See Why You Must Take A Walk Everyday

Walking, especially when you have unknown specific dimension might be very frustrating, but honestly, to walk is the best and easiest means of exercise. Almost everyone, regardless of age can start walking, especially the office workers. You older people are meant to be walking between one house to 4 houses a day, the following day, you increase the distance to another 4 houses each week. It won't be long, you will be able to walk many miles per day.

There is a tendency that just by walking you will be able to keep the doctor far away. Ranging from losing weight, lessen your blood pressure and reducing your risk of serious unending diseases. Going for regular walk is one of the best and easiest things you can do to improve your health, as stated by Melina B jampolis, MD, in her book “The Doctor on Demand Diet”, a diet and fitness veteran. See why you must make use of you legs everyday:

1.  Walking gets rid of calories effectively

Walking may look so easy and probably seems not effective in burning calories. I must tell you jogging, running or any form of exercise is actually less effective compared to walking, in the sense that, walking makes it easier for you to exercise at a very low kilojoules so as for you not to feel any form of tiredness in a long period of time. This is not vague; it is clearly no doubt a tested and proven researched work. If you are an overweight person and or wanted to be fit. Please start making use of your legs now for fitness sake.

2.  Walking keeps both legs balance

Naturally, our two legs lack stability. I found this out myself by asking my friend, Doctor Jane.  Dr. Jane is one of the senior physicians in Lagos University Teaching hospital. She treks almost all times to the hospital, though her house was few miles away from the hospital. I noticed this and went to her and asked her why she preferred walking instead of driving her car down to clinic. All she said was that “I want good posture and I need to steady both legs before having good posture”!

Always try to walk as smart as possible. Walking really works if you want a good and perfect posture, especially for the bad shaped people.

3.  Walking makes you fit

Yes! You will feel very well alive and be full of energy. You should remember the moment you’re lethargic and you walked down few miles away from house, tell me how do you feel? I’m sure you would felt absolutely well and okay. The walk makes you fit and enthusiastic to do something.

Also, remember when you woke up from bed feeling sluggish and you walk down to the beach or football pitch to catch fun. It is actually the walk that drove the fun positively, not the fun you intended to make. You wouldn’t be fit if you didn’t have a walk and therefore you might not enjoy your games.

4.  Walking prevents heart disease and improves circulation

Walking exercise your heart rate by raising it, lowers blood pressure, improve calories and fortify the heart. Studies at the University of Colorado at Boulder and the University of Tennessee found that post-menopausal women who walked just one to two miles a day lowered blood pressure by nearly 11 points in 24 weeks, according to researchers at the Harvard School of Public Health in Boston.

Women who walked 30 minutes a day reduced their risk of stroke by 20 percent – by 40 percent when they stepped up the speed. So you have to make it mandatory to always take a walk in other to improve your body metabolism.
